1. Amazing Views
If there’s anything that penthouses do offer, amongst other amenities that might or might not be there, great views throughout the apartment is a definite. While you might expect most penthouses to be located on the top-most floor, many are also located much lower for better, unblocked views.
2. Great square footage
Along with expansive views, a penthouse building will also give you a grand square footage, which is also much more than your independent homes. The planning is also done in a manner that the apartment feels more open, and make good use of such heights.

This is something we really love when designing a penthouse, a good ceiling height. The benefit of having high ceilings is that there would be more light inside, making the apartment feel even bigger.
4. Well furnished
Partially furnished penthouse room and apartments are most often laden with good quality fixtures, finishes, appliances, flooring and more. This is also the reason we love working with penthouses, that they already match the luxury quotient in many ways.

The way that a penthouse is usually built, is that it is set back from the property line, giving space to amazing terraces that allow you to take in the mesmerizing views right in front of you. Most often, the entire city might just be visible from where you are standing.
2. Maximum privacy
When you have an entire floor to yourself, there’s hardly anything to worry about. Neighbors, noise pollution are worries you leave behind when you have a penthouse. If you define penthouse, it is the top floor mostly which means you will be away from the hustle on the ground and otherwise.
3. Mesmerizing views
The one main reason that we’ve asked our clients about, why they want a penthouse, is that they wanted a great view. Many high rises today will give you a great view from the lower floors, but being on the top floor and looking at the city completely differently, is something to look forward to.

Why someone might not like penthouses?
We’ve heard of many problems with penthouses as well! You might think here, what could be the problem which such a luxury property really? Well, here it is.
1. Fewer outdoor spaces
The outdoor spaces you will have to yourself in a penthouse would mostly just be the balconies or connected terraces to the living rooms or bedrooms. The layout can vary based on what the realtor is offering or which floor it is. It being the top floor, it becomes difficult to explore outdoor spaces around the apartment complex.
2. Accessibility
Being on the top floor is the biggest benefit of having a penthouse, and is the problem for many too. Long elevator rides and being away from the ground is not easily manageable in many cases. In scenarios where you are in a rush this can feel like a task, to go up or go down the floors.
3. Estate prices
There’s so much that penthouses today offer, from great views to great living, but all of that comes at a cost which keeps rising. In a millennium city like Gurugram where we are based, the estate prices often sky rocket so we always suggest our clients to see if the price tag is something worthy for them or not.

2. Focus on the bigger picture
Penthouses many times have lofts or double floors as well, so we think of it as an independent home and not just an apartment. That is when comprehensive design happens which focuses on the property, as a home and not just as a top floor apartment.
3. Don’t forget your terrace
In the designing process, you would think that the terrace can be left out or done later.
